Do you have to be a paid member to send PMs?

I tried to respond to one sent to me several times but it doesn't seem to be going, and my responses weren't in my "Sent" folder.

No you don't have to be a paid member to PM, however becoming a paid member is encouraged and helps support and maintain the site.

OK, thank you. It's weird the messages don't seem to be going through. Appreciate the info and I do agree, it's a bargain.

Mark, several people complained after the update that their private messages were not going thru. You might do a search and see what the fix was as I believe it was discussed. I did not have the problem so I never read the thread.

Go to user CP then click on Edit Options.
When there, make sure messaging is enabled also checkmark choices are correct for features you want.

Thanks guys. I went into User CP and Options, but my save copies of sent messages wasn't checked, so I fixed that. Appreciate the guidance gentlemen.

Peter's right you can even choose to get an email directly to you for responses so you don't miss any personal messages.
Even guys that don't sell on here and have a WANT list the $25 is priceless, I sell a lot of parts on here but when I put a Want list up they get filled quickly too.
