Boy is this one ever nice. Sounds as though it has had some significant rust repair, but the end result is gorgeous. Don't see this color very often but I love it...looks to be the same color code as Fathom Blue.

A Performance Years forum member owns the car. Very nice example of a RAIII. Nice to see that the work was done properly and not just patches on such important items like frame rails. That is really hard work.

Cool car and color scheme.

On a side note: It's a shame that noone ever ordered a RAIV Formula in 1970. It is still unclear whether the engine was available or not in a Formula (they did build 88 Trans Ams with it) but since no one tried to order one, we will never know...

I know the seller and the car. Real stand up guy..............dead honest. I've seen the car in the air and it really turned out nice. Pete has gone the distance to shake the car down as well

Nice. agreed - great color on a low option Formula. What would “axle-perform” indicate?

Edit: helps if you read the entire ad, 3.73 ratio - did it come standard with a 3.55?. I thot that looked like a 12 bolt axle - i did not know these Pontiacs could get a 12 bolt.

Yes, 3.73s optional. The 400 cid cars got 12-bolts, just for 1970 though.
