For a moment I thought our man Darrell had gone off the deep end. For the record Darrell's car is WAY nicer but I wouldn't kick this one out of bed either.
Sold new in Sierra Madre, CA...would be cool to know from which dealer.

Exactly what I was thinking. That car could share a spot in my garage any day!!

The steering wheel has got to go... and I would also swap a set of period-correct tach and gages. He doesn't say whether it's factory paint, but it could be?
I believe this is the third time the car has been listed... WIW?

I was interested in this Camaro when it was first listed. A lot of the story over the phone by Roy checked out. The more I looked at the pictures the more I asked about things like the power booster, alternator, pulley, front seats, etc. If you notice the first listing was listed by cainet777 with (24) pictures. I started looking at what cainet777 had purchased on Ebay. I found that cainet777 had purchased a trim tag (I am NOT saying it was for this Camaro), but a trim tag had been purchased. When I questioned Roy about the purchase of a trim tag, he claimed that it was his son's user name and he had never used Ebay before. He also claimed he didn't understand that his son was a numbers guy and that he would guarantee the tag was original. The Camaro is now being listed by daytonayellow with only (12) pictures. You cannot look at what cainet777 has purchased now on Ebay. I am not saying the trim tag has been replaced on this Camaro I am not that good especially with a LOS tag. The above findings was enough for me to lose interest.

How could you see what another eBay user had purchased?

very poor engine restamp.
You think this why???
Original trim tag and original engine pad, IMO.

Agreed, did not see any issue with the engine pad.
Its real that is not a re stamp.

broach marks look nothing like originals in my opinion

----Its my understanding that the broachers would wear out and be replaced. The broach marks would be different depending on how used up the broacher would be. If you look at enough pads I think you may agree...…..Bill S

What matters is the stamps. And they are original.
Pictures (and time) can make broach marks look off.
