I'm not sure I understand where the $150k was spent...I'd expect perfection for that price...but this one does look nice.

A little odd to see an aftermarket shifter boot on a car that has had that kind of money spent on the resto. Still an easy fix but it kinda makes a guy wonder.

----Like you say, Tony. Why are simple things not right. Rad cap and battery for starters. And then there's the Vintage AC. Personally, If I had spent that kind of money on a resto there would be a 4-speed in it even if it wasn't correct. I believe that there was a small semi- console for standard shift Skylarks and there is probably one out there they could have found during a lengthy restoration. I have been looking for the right 65 GS Skylark for a seriously long time and its very hard to find a good one. This one looks good but, for me, is lacking.

Cant tell in the pics if it has the grand sport long branch exhaust manifolds. Don't have them, that will trough you back some bucks.
