Many Chevelle and Muscle Car Fans consider the 1970 Chevelle SS to be America’s favourite Muscle car and as a Convertible they are highly sought after. This SS 396 has 73,724 Original miles. This 70 Chevelle SS I'm presenting and consigning today is a superb example of a very nice looking turnkey high quality show car. Documents are incredible which include Original >>> Build Sheet, Protect-O-Plate, Dealer Bill of Sale, Chevrolet Pre-Delivery Service Adjustment Check sheet, History of Original owner Janet R. Desjardin explaining why she bought this SS and a former Bill of sale from Janet’s Husband Dennis verifying how original the SS is which is signed.

Factory Options Include >>> A51 Bucket Seats, B37 Floor Mats, B93 Door Edge Guards, C06 Convertible Power top, D55 Center Console, G80 Posi Rear Axle with the standard 3.31 ratio, L34 396 350 HP Motor, M40 Automatic Transmission, N33 Tilt Column, N40 Power Steering, U35 Clock, U63 AM Radio, ZL2 Cowl Induction and of course the Z25 SS 396 Package. Also this SS did come with the White Stripe Tires as it is clearly on the Build Sheet as you could request white stripe tires by simply asking the dealer when ordering the car.

Car runs and starts fantastic and the current owner has won many awards with this car. The car has never had a frame off restoration and the undercarriage is very clean.

Very nice car..........this model as a convertible is hard to find with original drivetrain, good condition, and bullet proof docs & history.

Still have pics of a documented LS5 version of this convertible I nearly purchased a few years ago (after selling mine) that was the same color combo. Someone in CA now has it.

----Very cool 70 vert! I wonder if the rear springs were ever changed out. Looks a bit high. No biggy, and wouldn't even remotely damage my enthusiasm. Love blue/blue gut 70's......Bill S

Car only needs 4 things IMO
Original rear springs for a correct rear stance.
Legendary Seat covers to replace those old cheap flat style ones done many years ago.
Battery Topper.
and a correct BB Master cylinder under the hood.
All very easy to replace in the future.

I did not get into the smaller components but it's all there too.
Also original Rad was rebuilt along with the original water pump at one point.
Past owners did not throw any of the original stuff away as they would rebuild anything that would break down.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.
