Hi All,

This past weekend was the 3rd annual Bridge-Orama show at the former site of the Bridgehampton Race Circuit [now it is converted to an exclusive golf club].

Since the show's inception, I have been a part of bringing high quality American cars to the show which is largely preserved a racetrack - the approach drive up to the infamous Chevron Gasolines 'Bridge' remains, along with Mobile 1 pegasus signs and a healthy display of car art by Richard Prince.

Let me preface this post and share the exotic car display is approximately 10x larger than the American display but hats off... where on earth can you see three 1987 Porsche 595s next to a '71 Ferrari Daytona, adjacent to four original Dinos, across from a frame off VW big window bus, not far from a new Bugatti and a handful of Pagani's. Mind-numbing. Saturday is invite only. There is a VIP dinner on Friday evening with displays from top sponsors - Richard Mille, Douglass Ellman, Rolls Royces, Net Jets and many more.

The American stuff was incredible too though...

-1970 Baldwin Motion Chevelle Phase III
-1969 Baldwin Motion Corvette Phase III
-1956 Corvette Sebring Racer
-1971 Corvette LS5 NCRS 5 Star Bowtie
-1967 Corvette 427/400 Convertible NCRS Duntov Award + Bloomington Gold
-1967 Shelby GT350
-1969 Mustang Boss 302 (Day2 trans am trim)
-1963 Corvette Z06 NCRS Top Flight
-1965 Shelby GT350R [Mark Dunahue car that raced and won The Bridge in 1966]
-1964 Galaxy Race Car
-1968 Shelby GT350 Convertible
-1965 Corvette L78 Convertible NCRS Top Flight, Bloomington Gold, Triple Diamond car
-1969 Camaro Z28 [my rusty junk]

I want to send a special thanks to Adam Tuckman and his father Monty for displaying their 1970 Baldwin Motion Phase III Chevelle. It is always a pleasure to catch up Adam!

On Sunday there is a Cars and Coffee event in Bridgehampton which is open to the public. I had the pleasure of seeing our Mr. 'SYC' Steve Shauger, his good friend Mark Leib. Steve brought his HO 1969 Z28 (stunning example) and Mark drove [emphasis on drove] his Ralley Green 1969 Yenko Camaro with OEM motor. Another nice treat was meeting my girlfriend's parent's friend Zack. He owns a wonderful '87 Buick GNX with only 1700 original miles still on OEM tires.

Many photos to follow.

Enjoy,
Dan

And the famous "Chevron Gasolines Bridge" preserved as seen during track use... I always get chills thinking Donahue, Gurney, Penske, Yenko, and others passed under it. Priceless Americana. My buddy's 67 GT350 in pose.

Dan

Definitely works of art. The interior of the Pagani is just drool inducing. Thanks again for the pics.

That is cool that they preserve history and left the bridge alone.

Thanks Gents!

It is a wonderful venue and show. I'll be looking for more member cars for the 2019 Edition and I've already planted seeds...
