Saw this one pop up on Craigslist a few times, but still way overpriced IMO. Guessing this was a 275hp car but hard to tell from the pics/info provided.

11637 - 8 cyl Chevy II 400

11837 - 8 cyl Chevy II SS

I think? So an original 8 cylinder car...

Even numbered vins like 114-116-118 are all V8. Might be 283 or 327. If a V8 car has just

"Flags" on the fenders, it is a 283 car. 327 will have "327" numbers above the flags.

Odd numbered vins like 113-115-117 are 4 or 6 cylinders with 117 being a 6 cylinder SS

Most, not all cowl tags had 118...due to Fisher body putting tags on cars before

knowing what engine was to be installed in car. 118 is a V8 SS but could be a 283 or a 327.

66 L79 was a 327/350HP with 5,481 units
67 L79 was a 327/325HP with 6 or 7 units
