Still looking. However now only low-mile time-capsule survivor, must have born-with motor and legit docs. L89? Discrete, private owner. Perfect long-term home. No game playing, no BS. All contacts, referrals, information kept strictly confidential. Please, if it doesn't fit the description, don't waste your time. Thanks.

Would anybody believe a 67 L71, and an L89, each with less than 100 miles? And another L71 with 1900 miles and still with its original owner?

Quite amazing and best of luck choosing!
Too cool one's still an OO car also hoping the L89 is a Coupe!
Side question, both of the two '67 Tankers built were SB cars...correct?:hmmm:
:beers:

Anything is possible but I'd have to see it to believe it.

1,900 mile OO is almost believable in an eccentric situation but still smells too good to be true.

<100 miles and an L89. Must be the great Corvette in existence....

Best,
Dave

Seems like there was a Camaro recently discussed that was a drag car from Day 1 and on Day 2 they did some trans-clutch work and never bothered hooking back up the speedo cable. That's why it had <50 miles "showing".

----I knew about a very low mileage OO L89 67 located in the Jacksonville area back in the late 70's. Same owner had a 71 LS6 with 1000 original miles. Classic Motors got that one and sold it quickly, but unfortunatly we couldn't land the 67. Don't have a clue where it resides today......Bill S

Do you remember if the 67 L89 was a coupe or conv? Colors? The black/white one that Car & Driver tested in their May 67 issue (article written in Feb) has never surfaced.

----The 67 was black outside and I'm not sure on the gut. It was either red or black. To be clear I was only told about this car by a reliable guy who has since passed on. I never actually saw it. I was told that the reason for the low miles was that the original owner financed the cars and decided that he wouldn't drive them till the loans were paid off. By that time he felt that they were collectors items and couldn't bring himself to drive them. There were two other super low mileage cars involved. 1st was a 66 Satellite Hemi and 2nd was a 70 Hemi Challenger. Neither had more than 3000 miles. We snagged those two as well at Classic Motors, but the Challenger was sold out from under me before I could pick it up..….Bill S

I know of and have seen, two 67 L71 Vettes, red convertible and coupe. Delivered without fluids, 0 miles still with original owner.

What a car THAT would be to find. Tuxedo black with white interior, that's a fast 'skunk'. Turned 105 mph in the quarter and 0-60 in 4.7 sec. on those little tires with that factory exhaust - it was a runner.
