First time at having to ship a car and I'm looking at a distance from southern California to northwest Ohio. What"s the average cost that I can expect and who is a reliable carrier ?

We used “Reliable Carriers” to ship my dad’s 1962 “409” from Los Angeles, CA to Central Illinois and it was IIRC~$1200.
They had excellent communication and were great to deal with. Real car guys!

I used Safe Auto Transport when I had a car shipped from O'Fallon, IL to Colfax, CA. It cost me $1,300. I was happy with their service.
