Anyone have anything from Dinger Chevrolet in Schuylkill Haven, PA?

We just got the NCRS report back on a friends '69 Z28, and it's from Dinger! I know they are out of business now, but were a primary dealer back in the day. How do you guys search the old newspapers?

Man, if they sold Hummers, they'd have been known as Hummers by Dinger or HumDingers for short! ;>)

Schuylkill Haven looks like its halfway between Allentown and Harrisburg. Are you just looking for ads from that dealer or are you trying to find an ad with that specific car? If looking for the specific car, send me colors and NCRS build date and I can see if something's out there.

Here's an ad from a quick search. It appears that Dinger did not often list individual cars in their ads unless they were used cars.
I thought the ad was interesting....things like this could drive someone to legitimately say they bought a "rare custom paint car right off the showroom floor - must be a super rare factory one-off".

As R68GTO noted, most Dinger ads are for used cars but here's a few of the cooler ones I saw.
Some are blurry like this May 22/69 ad w/ the '69 Z-28 so included are expanded top/bottom views.
What color is your friend's car Marl?:hmmm:

Thanks a bunch!! The car in the ad very well might be his car.... The NCRS cert states that the official GM production date was 4/14/1969, so that fits the date of the newspaper ad as well.

Too cool Marl and everything does seem a perfect fit, black hat included!
Gotta love the NCRS reports and how well they help connect dots that would otherwise be missed.
Note the L78 car in the ad below the Z-28, does Really Green actually mean Rally Green?:hmmm:
