That is true, the - indicates special instruction which could be non rpo color, non stripe or perhaps different color stripes. The original car is definitely an original paint black car without stripes so multiple exceptions.

This car with the stripes has at least the passenger side fender replaced, it has the recess for the 1975 air cleaner hose.
