Looking for a 3 series posi carrier for a 12 bolt

You can buy them new. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/etn-19554-010/overview/ The original 12 bolt Eaton Posi had 18 disc steel clutches and 200 pound green springs. The new ones have 14 disc carbon fiber clutches with 400 pound yellow springs. A new one will work fine unless you need one with a certain date.

Yeah, ive seen used ones come up occasionally, was just trying to save some money

You have to be careful with the used ones. A new set of clutches can make the over all price go over what a new one would cost. The preload plates in the old ones can crack and the cross shaft can be worn and need to be replaced. The original gears are no longer available, so if one of the gears is chipped or pitted you have to replace the whole set. If it was run with one of the pinion thrust washers missing then the case could be worn and not usable. There are some good used ones out there. I'm just saying be careful or you will end up with more money in a used one that what a new one would cost.
