Unfortunately not what you think...this one's a '66 on a '77 B-body chassis. At least it's going cheap (currently $1400 @ no reserve).

Might be cool if you could do something about the stance. The 4x4 look is just bad.

Damn, I was hoping this would be one of the Crown conversions. I actually passed on a Crown V8 car in the ‘90’s that was priced VERY reasonably to me and always regretted not pulling the trigger on it!

Funny you mention Arnold cuz I actually live in Arnold. But no, this car was blue up in STL county.

I grew up just one block over from Tenbrook and my parents are still there. I think I have a friend that mentioned the car you speak of.

I remember that fella with the '62 Bel Air at Autozone. He very regretfully sold it as an unfinished project after accumulating too many other cars. He's still around though and has another Black Bel Air and a Black Biscayne these days.

$5500 is a bit much for something that needs a lot of attention to be a nice looking car. The wagon wheels don't help it a bit. They look like trailer wheels.

Posted this before, but here are my friend Marv Bookman's Corvairs. Small block and 409 done the way GM would have. https://i.ibb.co/K7sQ7ts/13226701-1093618227362942-1454731871447048206-n.jpg (https://ibb.co/jGwxGCw)

Is he running reverse roatation engines? I believe the alternative is to flip the final drive around and run the gears backwards.

Correct sir ! Reverse rotation engines. The convertible is a joy to drive. The Dual Quad 409 is a beast !

I am thinking the small block is beast enough.
