69 396 auto radiator

Looking for a big block radiator for a 69 Camaro 03D. IL & CH coded tanks. Tag would read 3017838 ZE

Sort of what you're looking for. Tag matches, but there are no codes on the tanks. K5 date code? Take a look at the pics and let me know if you're interested.

Same radiator was used in the 69 BB Nova...they are a pretty rare item to come by.

If you find an original you may have to settle on the date stamp...just finding the radiator is tough enough.

Just for my own info....does the K5 denote November of 1975?

The assembly line units only had the tank letter codes and a month code...I have never seen a number denoting year. In fact it would be hard to know what year a radiator was unless it was with the original car. The month codes and tank letters were the same. 70 tags have 1968 dates..:scholar:
