Attn: Attn: ATTENTION!! With all this showy, shiny stuff around at this small time...impromp-to.... local drive in...Friday night Sonic-run car show....:bs:....what does the Barn Find section this year hold for spectators?:hmmm:

I'm hoping that I'll be among one these highly sought after, coveted, participants with a car that relates directly to one of the Showcases that the Showcase putter-onner is putting on for this show. Although officially, I won't know until late Spring.:eek2:

So, what's up Ryan? What's on the plan? Remember... I've been appointed to Commode Steward in Hall D's iconic and highly posh latrine, so I'll be there.... car or no car!

Cheers:beers:
Dave

I may have a 1969 model muscle car for barn finds if I can’t bring my 69 Charger.

Well, let's not waste any time!

We have already received the first entry for our Barn Finds & Hidden Gems area. Can you say Hemi? And yes..this will be yet another that has been off the radar and packed away for many, many years.

I thought people were getting tired of Barn Finds... I was keeping it on the down low for a bit.

Working to get a few cool cars in there.

Goodness! Looks like that truck took a massive dump of car parts! Must have been some bad gas and couldn’t hold it any longer :dunno:. I spy a few Mopar parts laying in there, a couple turbos, and what appears to be a yellow mini atomic bomb:tongue::no:

So what’s news and brewing, Ryan!?!? Hints, clues....Help!!:scholar:

Cheers:beers:

Holy crap, that is a mint condition oxygen tank from a B17! That has to be worth some money!

I'm kinda into flying, especially Warbirds. ;) Been in many over the years as well as I have done some restoration work on them. The attached photo is when Ann and I were in the ill fated Nine-O-Nine B17 a few years ago and I took this shot.

On a side note, I was on a heart attack fire/medical call a few years ago and as we walked through the patients home to get to him in the kitchen I could not help but notice the COMPLETE B17 instrument panel and throttle console from a B17 on display in his living room. After we got him stabilized and he was doing better I inquired about it. He tells me he bought it off ebay?!?!?! He then says, if you think that is cool you need to walk down into my basement and see all of those airplane parts. Unfortunately and under the circumstances I did not do that. I really need to get back there and see everything.

Speaking of our BF/HG area, I am thrilled to be hosting a 13 year old owner this year!

The owner of the car is 13, not the car!

Cool car! Saw first one at the Amphitheatre (McCormick Place still in repair), and another in the basement at the Pete - that car still w/the Teague family, I think.

Did you find a barn find?!

Well lets just say that they have other uses.

What kind of car is that? The tail lights look like the ones in a 63 Z06 we pulled out of a Colorado barn about 4 years ago.

It is the back end of a Dodge, 1964-ish.

Some more of the puzzle.

Ok... so I've had a few days to recover. Here is all the pictures from the MCACN barn finds area!

Thoughts? Concerns? Criticism? Offers of Diet Pepsi sponsorships would be appreciated.
