Lynn, Holly and I drove over to Pavilions today to check out the cars and meet up with folks. We met up with Glenn Benthin and Dave Gilsmer. What a surprise! Missing Jacquie Benthin...Missing John Ward...Missing Allan Siferd.

Saw Shaun and Paul...and lo and behold, Eddie Montini was there, too!, So were Charley, Mike Greenawalt, Mike Angelo (Where's Grady? https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t57/1/16/1f609.png;) )
Missed Ward Gappa and Toby (but saw their cars). Met up with Andrew Distad, too!

As a surprise, Ike Ricchio felt well enough to come out for a while with his wife Judy, too!

Enjoy the pics!

In this first group...Glenn Benthin and Dave Gilsmer. So cool to catch up with old friends!

The second pic is John Ward's daughter Kellie-who was out raising money for her son's outrageous medical bills. John is also battling cancer (just got done with chemo) and his cancer is in remission. They are a great family.

Then we have a one of none(?) Grand Prix, a nice R/T Challenger, A cool Split window Corvette and a 1957 (?) Lincoln

More than welcome to, you can drive it if you want. You're too kind on the comments though, I still need to restore this car someday. I set it up to run the PS drags 20-some years ago but last couple years just have fun driving it and occasional drag strip fun. https://youtu.be/er1z7PpqsnY It's been my daily driver last couple years.
Haven't had it at the Pavs in a while, usually drive the Z. When I was told BJ was also Pontiac night I switched gears.
Dad's car is 571 ci and 724hp/760tq still working out the bugs on that one but the old fart is having fun with it.

Wow...your Formula gets with the program. 13.10's through the mufflers...

Why don't we get together sometime after the auctions..and I can shoot some more pics and we can do a members ride on it? We could include some in car video (with you driving) :)

My brothers first car when I was 14 was a 70 1/2 Formula 400 like yours...but his was Castillian Bronze and didn't have ram air. That car surprised a LOT of cars on Whittier Blvd back in the day...LOL

Thanks for bringing it out to Pavilions...and your dad, too...with his GTO. His car sounded great!! :beers:

Castillian Bronze is a beautiful color. It's flattering the thought of anyone being so interested. This car rarely gets that much attention. Absolutely we could get together. When ever you feel you have the time. I work from home so pretty flexible. I'll be down for the auctions later this week as well.
Thanks again

Weekends work best for us

That sounds good Bruce. I agree weekends are probably better for everyone. I asked everyone here and as far as I know I'll be around all of next weekend and don't have any plans for the one after either. So what ever works best, if you really want to make the trek up here, I'm open. Could also meet somewhere if that makes things easier.
