I got this from another forum I'm on.

A few years ago I sold my 1969 L88 Corvette at Scottsdale. It sold for $266,000. They sold me on having it detailed for $750, having vinyl decals put on the windshield and a reader board made for $600, having it parked in a high traffic area for $500 and selling it on Saturday, and then paying commission. It cost me $23,130. I was happy to pay it.

Barrett' gotta eat too. If there were no middle men, there'd be more dudes hanging at the offramps.

This is one of the worst descriptions I’ve read for a car as rare as an L88.

Agreed, pretty vague... Didn't seem to hurt the selling price... I like the color combo.. Sharp car..

The description implies that it does not have the original engine. It was also at Mecum Monterey 2018. Nice looking car in white.

It is a real documented L88 but really needs to be restored in my opinion. It's also missing the smog system and does not have the original motor.

Not too bad - in one of the better color combos IMHO.
Could not be too many White RED GUT L88's.

The description is written by the seller. as stated above not much else to say, low mileage, repainted correct color, documentation, not restored, not the original motor.

To me that really comes out to a $46,000 loss.

If I owned half the market I would be 1/2 the wealthiest man in the world. Would that make me the most interesting man in the world?
