Couldn't help but note the Bronze '68 in a pic member Canuck recently posted over on his & EV's cool new shop thread as link below.
Not that he or Members in the other thread w/ Bronze 68's are selling their cars, more they could be aware of not just good possibilities but also the time-wasting bad cars out there too?:hmmm:
Best of luck w/ your quest!
:beers:

Why been looking for a 68 bronze z car :beers: that's the first camaro z28 I own & bought back in 1972 payed 1575.00 , the Z good old days :flag: . well anyway , I have a 1968 super sport 396/325 4 speed I have own since 1991 I had bought the Camaro out of Kansas , was sold threw brewer motor co. never title out of Kansas until I bought it and move back to Va. in 1996 I title in Va. restored back in 1998 . it does have the born with all drive train exterior paint Matador Red with Black Std interior, my repaint went with black stripe than the correct white stripe because personally like the black,, only time they did a black stripe was for vinyl black top cars, iam going to get all pictures done of stamps and date codes, if not on the car, and all the original parts from day one. this will being going up for sale soon once I get all information and doc,s pictured once its sold , then I move on further for the 68 bronze z iam looking for .
Not saying the car you want isn't out there, but that is a tall order.
I don't think this part will be that difficult:
"std black interior non spoiler,s gauge,s deleted, non console"
Although, seems hard to find one without the spoiler added, even if it didn't come with the spoiler package. Same with the console.
This is where it really gets hard:
"need s to have the orginal, build sheet, protect-o- plate, window sticker, past history."
Very few Norwood cars will have a build sheet. The other stuff got pitched in the early days for most of these cars. I bought a two year old Z/28 in the summer of 71 with the POP in the glove box. I pitched it, figuring it was worthless to me.
If I were looking for a numbers matching 68 Z, I think I would first simply verify the engine and trans stampings as original. Some cars speak so well for themselves, that the docs don't really do much to verify.
I am sure I am not telling you anything you don't already know. Just food for thought.
BTW, some of my fondest memories from high school were riding around in my buddy's 68 Z, Corvette Bronze non RS car. My favorite 1968 color.

My ‘68 is the right color with no spoiler, also has black standard interior but equipped with the original matching L35 396, TH400, AM/FM and the top goes down... all fully documented with POP, etc. I’m going to put her on the market this spring, so I thought I’d run it by you in case you’re flexible on some of your criteria.
Either way... good luck in your search!
