Original black paint cars aren't easy to find. This one was made to run and drive, but it sounds like it's not quite roadworthy yet. I think I could have it back on the street with a weekend's worth of work...looks pretty clean to me.

Strong bidding on this one so far - $34,600 with the reserve not yet met.

And THAT is how you sell a car on eBay. No shortage of great pics. Appearingly Honest Description. Have no idea of value on any mustang but will be fun to watch. :)

I agree,well done.
How did they get all those photos to scroll like that after the description?
Do you have to pay an extra eBay fee for them to do it when listing,or do you just add photo links after your description?..and if the latter, can it be done from your browser,or do you have to add a Photobucket link?

Incredible Mustang. I'm sure it's going to be really difficult for the owner to hand the keys over.

That should be in the 39 to 43k range. The Marti Report really makes buying a Ford car way less of a headache.

Great question! This is how I've been setting up my car ads on eBay for the last 15 years, so I've played around with several ways to do this type of ad. Yes, to get the additional photos, you have to link them into your ad from a 3rd party host. I took at peek at this seller's HTML and it looks like he's using a site called Craig Upload. I still use PhotoBucket after all these years. Once the photos are uploaded to the photo hosting site, you can link them into your ad. All of this is done while setting up the listing in eBay, you just have to switch the body of your ad to HTML and paste in the code.

I've been watching '69 fastback shells sell for $15-18,000, my guess is this one sells for low $60's. It checks almost all the boxes, in my opinion.

The only thing about this one that weirds me out a bit is that the seller says several times that they're "not a car guy", yet nearly all of their recent sales in the last several years are car parts or car related items. Not that it really matters, but it's somewhat strange.

Great write up. Makes me wonder if the listing was coached by and perhaps posted by his mechanic car friend instead of the owner. I'm sure there are a lot of Ford lovers watching this sale. The show here in Calgary this weekend has an entire club display of Mach 1 Fords in it. Like the Shelby's they have really come into their own. I've been watching the price of these cars and the Boss cars climb in the past 10-15 years.

I thought the same thing.....not a car guy and the seller's ebay name is shelbygt350?? Maybe the ebay account is not the seller's?
