Can you even imagine trying to get that thing off the line? You would need the dual disk for sure!

All three of the James Garner AIR L88 cars were ordered with the 3:08 to run in Daytona. They drove them back from the factory to CA to get raced prepped. Probably cruised pretty good on the open road with the gear set

----It's a small thing, but I notice on so many HP big block Chevy's that people run the PCV hose around the back side of the engine. I never know weather its just that someone doesn't know any better or there has been an incorrect carb installed with a rear exit rather than passenger side exit......Bill S

Surprisingly, lots of L88 Corvettes came equipped with 3.08 gears. I believe it was a road race thing.
