Not a muscle car by any means but after a therapy dog visit with a busload of kids at the firehouse Hollywood took a ride in our antique fire engine. He's not allowed in the shop anymore so no car photos.

How about the real Boss 429 that was a dog house? I don't think he was too happy when they towed away his cool digs.

Here is Cooper. He's 8 years old, and level 8 agility doggo. He went for a ride in this car when he was 8 weeks old to DQ for ice cream. Rides in a loud car are not a problem!

Hollywood is a certified Therapy Dog (retired). We also tried training him for the agility competition but he was just too laid back to give a crap.

Carrie, my wife does it out of fun, not for the ranks or trophies. Cooper likes to be active so weekend are trials for them and I do more car stuff. He has come a long way in a few years. She even trained him to go up stairs backwards. They are an amazing team.
Those puppy pics make us want another!

Good for her. We have a australian shepherd/bassett hound mix that we are trying to train to not be reactive/aggressive and it is quite a lot of work.

We had a kid at the local fair that was walking around holding her skunk. Made you stop and look. Do you have any pictures on the leash? Friend of mine descented a few and said they were bettter pets than cats. The last one he did was for a lady. He went over to visit her and the skunk came over and jumped up on his lap on the couch. Might freak out most people!

The black one is a Labraschund or Daschador. Looks like a black Lab squozed into a Daschund mold. Tiny little dwarf legs with a 110 decibel bark, and poops the size of a Great Dane. She came from the island of St Croix after one of the hurricane rescue operations.
The white one is a ChiRussell or Jackhuahua. Tiny Chihuahua head attached to a fat JackRussell Terrier body. Rescued from a kill shelter in Tennessee.
They spend 23 hours a day chewing on each other and playing tug of war while barking non stop.
Yay dogs!

She came from a PetSmart cat Rescue group. She's a sweetheart and plays fetch like a dog!

And this was Rusty (Originally Dusty...LOL). He was the most awesome male cat ever. I swear, he though he was a dog...and was the most mild mannered cat, such a gentle soul. He ended up getting kidney issues about the same time Holly did-and ended up getting fluids via IV in the scruff of his neck for a year(administered by me via an 18 gauge needle)-before his heath declined. He had to be put down by our vet-while Holly was intensive care in Socal quite a few years ago. I still miss him. He was "My buddy, Ruddy" as Holly used to say. :frown:

We had a surprised new addition to the family last year. Her name is Stella. Some dirtbag piece of shit asshole dumped her in our neighborhood. I tried for 2 weeks to get her but being scared she just would not come. Finally with the help of some good ole American hotdogs and some cat food she finally came around and has been with us since. Staffordshire Pit Terrier. She is just a good dog that was treated poorly. The wife and I think she was used as a bait dog and to breed from the way she acts in certain situations. I swear this is what makes me hate people... She loves being in the garage and is by my side when I am working.
Our two rescue hounds, on death's door eight months prior to the pic. We aren't those people who decorate their dogs, lol, but the rescue organization(Mutts in a Rutt, wonderful) were requesting for a xmas calander.
And the old barn cat, some have seen before. Not a staged pic, kid caught it home from college a few years back,,,more of a motor head then the dogs. Still kicking and healthy.

We just rescued a couple new pups.
They're beautiful. Names/Breed?
Thanks to everyone for posting! Had dogs, and cats, my whole life. About five years ago had to put my beloved sheppard Nick down.120lb, purebread, guard dog lineage.Easy to train, good with children, other animals(barn cat). Gave fifteen years of loyal service. Peace of mind when I was at the station overnight. Wife and kids safe.Home invasion would have been a grave mistake. After him, said I was done, cant be replaced.
Flash foward, future daughter in law brought over her rescue dog, beautiful animal. Then soon after talked my son into doing a animal rescue sponsored "pub crawl"
Enter Cooper, blue tick beagle mix,,little shit! After puppy sitting, hooked again. We found these two(only wanted one)but they had issues seperating them, anxiety, depression. They would shut down. What the hell, took them both.
Long winded, but feeling lazy today and procrastinating working on the car, heading out in a few..

They're beautiful. Names/Breed?
Thanks! They're rescues, so educated guesses at best for their breeds. The first one we were told was mostly a Beagle, but I have my suspicions. Seems to be a Terrier mix. When we first saw her we thought she had blue eyes so we went with Frankie for "Ol' blue eyes." Of course it turned out she has beautiful green eyes, but Frankie still fit for her.
The black and brown pup is Woody. He came to us with that name and nothing else has seemed to work for him. His mother was mostly retriever and shepherd and by looking at his brothers and sisters, his dad appears to be a Bernese Mtn Dog.
Scumbags had dumped both of them with their mothers in the Carolinas at different places.

We lost our Oliver to cancer in the fall...he was a 10 yr. old Maine Coon cat and was with us from the time he was a baby. He loved to 'guard' Karen's Camaro. Well the time was right to bring a new member into the family. So, please welcome Gibson to the SYC...he is a male Maine Coon about 3 yrs. old...he is a foster/rescue cat that we saw on the local TV news.
He has been with us since Monday and has already staked his claim to the house and our hearts. He craves affection and is very playful...besides being one good looking cat!!

Coincidently we were just notified that a litter of boys was finally available so she is getting a full blood brother. He has yet to be named but hopefully within the 5 weeks until we receive him we will have come up with a name. Here is Willow today and the new puppy. The puppy is estimated to grow to around 200 lbs. Our last male (Hollywood) reached 234 lbs.

They do not eat a lot but pooping is their specialty. We often joke that our dogs poop mound is bigger than their dogs (body) are. Good thing we have acreage out here.

You don’t walk over their mounds, you trip over them.....

Thought the following might be helpful to others and possibly prevent a possibly deadly accident for your dog. While we were out of the house the dog was able to gain access to the inside of a lower kitchen cabinet and then eat the contents of an entire bag of sugar free chewing gum. Sugar free gum and many other products contain an artificial sweetener called Xylitol. I have since learned that this artificial sweetener, even in small amounts is highly toxic to dogs. Fortunately, in our case, the dog received prompt emergency treatment and after spending several days in the animal hospital is now OK.

Why do I feel like I just stumbled across a mobster meeting and they are plotting our family's demise?

Our little buddy Tucker, no longer with us but still in our hearts. He loved to ride in the Camaro.

I hear you Steve. It’s obvious who the ring leader is (position of authority). Best watch your six! :eek2:

They must also be plotting a prison break as well. Since one of them previously cut the alarm sensor wire going to the window. I anticipate that they will be placing a cat postor over that outlet hole and air vent in the near future, as they continue with their excavation plans.

Gibson arrived on the scene last year around Memorial Day...he is a 3 yr. old Maine Coon rescue. We have had two others who have gone to cat heaven...Katskill and Oliver...we miss them both.
Gibson has adapted well to guarding Karen's Camaros...so please be careful if you stop by...he is ferocious

----We had a great Maine Coon that we rescued back about 15 years ago as a kitten. Miss that bugger! They are great cats. Unfortunetly, like all great and maybe not so great pets, his time ended before ours. Miss them all. At one time we had 7 cats and a 95 lb. female Bouvier in a 1500 square ft. home. Miss them all, especially the Bouvier. She was a sweet heart.
----Great looking Maine Coon, Tom! .....Bill S

Thanks Bill...he is a beautiful cat. We just finished our evening 'love fest'...he retired to the garage and is sleeping on Karen's 69 SS Camaro. He guards it whenever mom is away
