I can't understand why this one hasn't sold yet for the $35k ask.

Pretty sad. Unless the body is a mess (1 pc. Front, rear clip, etc.) or it has a bad frame it is well worth the price.

Looks too clean for the dough and Tony's right, it should be gone by now.
Auction style also details/feedback are all weak so it'd be surprising if all is genuine here?

I agree. I've sold two driver '62s for north of $45k, so this should be gone already. My bet is something isn't on the up and up...

Wondering if that is rust from the inside on the frame just above those two holes.

----Charley,,,That rear crossmember is known to rust thru but is only bolted on and can be replaced pretty easily. The one shown here looks to be in pretty good shape and may have already been replaced once! I also agree that something seems off as far as price and pictured condition.....Bill S

If this was local to me... I would be driving the hell out of it this summer.

My opinion is that its a scam. I reached out and he called me but it was almost impossible to have a conversation with him due to his poor English and when I told him it all sounded like a scam he told me to never mind and hung up. He then wouldn't answer when I called him back. Another one of those, if its sounds to good to be true it likely is. Unfortunately eBay is getting nearly as bad as Craigs list with scammers.

I was tempted to hit the buy it now because the car is easily a 45 to 55 car. But if anyone does hit the buy it now they better have someone local there to verify that the car really exist and the car for sale is the same car in the ad and that the title is clean and matches. My guess is it a a copied ad from someone else's classified.

FYI, Those pictures in the auction were taken at 4500 Van Nuys Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA and not in Vancouver Washington which is close to 1000mi away.......

eBay auction is using the same pics except they greyed out the license plates...

Good digging Lee!
Tough to catch these tricksters being they'll never meet face to face as all they want is electronic deposits from multiple 'buyers'.
If someone wants to send $ securely etc, they just hang up and wait for the f:crazy::confused:lish folks to contact and make 'deals' with them.
Once the boat's full or things heat up too much, they move on and get to 'work' on some of their other 'projects'.
