Went there on the way to Carlisle one year. Test drove a brown 1971 Barracuda 4 speed that someone had put a 440+6 in. That car was very quick. Also saw a 1969 Trans Am and a 1970 Grabber Blue Boss 302.
Pretty neat place.

My friend use to be a salesman there. Glenn Keller was the owners son, he still lives in Lebanon and has many stories from when his father owned it.

Lebanon was a happening street racing / cruising town back in the late 70's early 80's . Back when I was broke early 80's you had your choice of anything on the front row. Primo low mileage 442s, GTO's,440/6 Mopars , CJ Fords , Z/28's , SS Chevys for $3500/$4000 . Being I was bucks down hi school kid . My 1st car 1972 Chevelle SS came from the very back row for $900
Had a 71 BM Camaro (red with white stripes and black interior) sold from there. Don't recall exact year, but it was in a magazine article with a picture. Believe it was some time in the '70's.

My buddy from Manheim/Lititz Pa is the one who purchased the car from Car Village rite after the Hot Rod magazine article came out, I believe it was 1980 ?( Actually traded a Turquoise LS6 Chevelle) he was only 18 or 19 at the time. Car was street raced and just beat on as any teenager would with such a car would !!! Needless to say after losing his license his father took the car from him , and eventually is was sold or traded towards a Custom Chevy van

Yep ! that's it !!! When he would be out raising hell the local cops wouldn't even chase him anymore, they would just go park across the street from his parents house and wait for him to come home. Or the time we drove it round trip from Manheim to Atlantic City and left the valet at the Playboy Club park it . Or the time etc...

I was a valet at the Tropicana and can recall seeing that car drive by me on Pacific Avenue; nearly broke my neck turning to check it out.

Without question the best looking second generation Motion car I have seen. I can't imagine ever owning that car. Must have been quite the car in it's day; very intimidating.

I have been looking for years for the issue of Hot Rod that had the article on Car village in it . And had the Motion Camaro as the Lead photo to the story. I was either a sophomore or junior in HS so I'm assuming it was 1980/81? If somebody could share a link or at least what exact issue that would be great !!!

I had that magazine back in the day but, probably threw it out years ago. Of course I save all of my old car magazines now.

I can still remember some of the verbiage from that article. I think Thom Keller was quoted as saying that cars with less than 40K miles were pure gold, and that "Camaro guys" were too squirrelly and that he liked to deal with people looking for Chevelles, Mopars and 442's much more, lol.
