69 Camaro locks and keys

Hello all, would anyone have a recommendation for a locksmith and making original keys for a 69 Camaro?

Need to find the key codes, and the punch tool kit that every GM dealer used to have
other than that you need to buy a cylinder and key set

I'm a master locksmith by trade and still have a stash of NOS GM locks including complete kits I have put together for Camaro's about 20 years ago. I still have coded ignitions with keys that have the knock out codes intact, matched pairs of coded door locks, trunk locks with coded keys and glove box cores that I key to match the trunk. I actually pulled out all my cases of locks a couple weeks ago and coded a set for one of my cars.

What do you need to do with your car? Rekey it or simply fit coded keys to it locally?

Oops...

Just installed my ignition and door locks today with these new keys that do have the key codes intact in the heads of the keys. Working on getting my dash finished up but now I can't find my tilt lever. Well...at least I can lock it up. :beers:

As Fred says, you will need to get the key codes off of the door lock or ignition cylinder (for the square key) and the trunk lock or glove box lock (for the round key). Once you get those codes, I would recommend Jesser's Classic Keys in Akron OH, 330.376.8181 Not inexpensive, but I know of no one that does it better.
