We ordered the car in early 2000, and took delivery in May. This was the 1st Berger car built and delivered after the two initial prototypes and wears GMMG identification tag 01001. The Berger folks numbered them as ordered, this car is #3 in their system. Car was delivered before all the stripe and badge artwork was done and remains the only stripe delete car of the entire 3 year run. ( Have letter from Berger verifying this) 30 cars were built for Berger in 2000 to celebrate their 75th anniversary.Only 6 were red.
GMMG and Berger partnered up to build 70 more cars between 2001 and 2002, and they have different options and wheels.
Our car has 17,000 miles. It remains totally unaltered except newer tires, and has never been in the rain or even wet. It has been stored in our climate controlled garage in Phoenix since new.
GMMG upgraded Options include :
Cat back chambered exhaust configured like a 69 Camaro
Carbon Fiber Air Box Lid
Eibach lowering springs and shocks
Chrome 17" wheels with custom made SS centers
Dimpled rotors
Blacked out tail panel, top hoop and mirrors are painted red
Custom made billet grille including 69 Camaro SS emblem
SS floor mats
Berger 75 th anniversary badging, key fobs
375hp/390tq package, dynos at 393 horse.
We have all documents with car including an original Berger ad for these cars in 2000.
