There has to be an error in recording that VIN. This guy probably peeled the 307 10 bolt drive train out of it when he found out the VIN match a Yenko Vin.
Things are not adding up here.

As far as Yenko Camaros are concerned, there are 3 (at least) "lists". They are all based (directly or indirectly) on old file copies that were not always legible. Also, two of the original hand written inventory sheets are not even available to us. So, we keep updating our "list" as more information becomes available.

We have the same disclaimer at the beginning of each section of our registry that the Shelby Registry has. They have been refining their registry for 40 plus years, and there are still corrections posted with every printing. Unlike the Shelby Registry, we post our "lists" on-line. This turns out to be a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that our "lists" are updated constantly, re-posted twice a year, and available to our entire community for free (my last Shelby Registry cost me $250.00). The curse is that errors are available for all to see - so some folks can sit back and criticize when 2 of 2,500 VINs turn out to be erroneous.
