These pistons and rods are very nice original parts that have been in storage since the early 70's. They came off of a 1969 Nova race car that had a 427 in it. Looking at all the parts that came with these pistons/rods, the car looks to have been an L78 built in late Jan or Feb. The last picture shows other parts that came to me in the same deal.
This is a set of 8 TRW Forged Pistons with dimple connecting rods for a 427 Big Block Chevy engine. The pistons are original GM TRW units and have the GM part number 3888304 forged into the undersides as shown. The GM 3888304 piston was used on the following applications: 1966-1969 L72 427/425HP(450HP) engines including 1969 Yenko and COPO engines. The rods are factory "dimple" units with 3/8 bolts. The pistons and rods are in good shape and will need cleaning. I quickly cleaned one with plastic media to show that they will clean up very nicely.
$350 for all 8 pistons and rods.
