How can you tell if a floor mat is a original one for a Chevelle or camaro

If I am not mistaken JohnZ said that original mats from the factory will fit the car. (his own 69 Z28 was factory equipped with mats)
And I believe he said the dealer install mats have different cut lines on the reverse of the mat for different model lines. I know he said dealer mats were cut to fit pretty sure he said about lines on reverse.
Originals are thinner than todays repops and more pliable too.
My 1970 chevelle SS build sheet shows front & rear floor mats. The original owner told me they came in two boxes,(front & rear) and were sitting in the trunk upon delivery.

There's a pair of GM mats in a Camaro I have at my house & look to be "cut to fit". I know the owner bought them new from the dealer instead of optioning them. Still had the invoice. They have numbers on the back. LH says CLO 1460-2 RMP. RH says CLO 1461-8 RMP. They're 50 years old & very pliable. My repops that are from 1982 are hard as a rock. If you dropped one, it would probably shatter...Joe
