Lynn, Holly and I were invited to take part in this years Carroll Shelby Tribute and Car Show in Gardena, Ca on Saturday May 4th. Along with the Pelton Family (Brandon, Lisa and Codi <3 ) we shared our experiences regarding heart transplantation. As everyone already knows, the Carroll Shelby Children's Heart Foundation was near and dear to Carroll's heart. Carroll and Holly were transplanted a few months apart in 1990...Carroll in May of 1990 and Holly in November of 1990
Codi was transplanted last year-and Holly almost 29 years ago both transplants were done at Loma Linda.
Thank you to Scott Black, Aaron Shelby, Tracey Smith and Rafella Golden for the invitation and the fun time! Let's do this again next year.
Enjoy the pics that I took...

Here's some of the swag we were given (we purchased the shirts).
One cool thing is the prototype Hot Wheels number 3 of 10 made... Larry Wood (Mr Hot Wheels) designed Daytona...One of the Shelby employees has a direct connection to Mattel which is right down the street from Shelby in Gardena.
We had a blast. :biggthumpup::worship:
