I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this power brake hose support is an original part. It came to me with a bunch of other original pieces. All the ones I have seen are stamped "aac". This one is simply stamped with a "P". Has anyone seen a P stamped one before?
Thanks,
Jason

I have seen the"p" ones only in the service nos brake boosters assemblies. The black Bendix boosters kits especially. It's real just not assembly line stuff. Imho never seen just a p on a original car.

Thanks for the replies.
Dvss1,
Just so I’m clear, are you saying this bracket came in GM service/accessory power brake kits and as far as you know the “P” stamped ones are post production?
Thanks again,
Jason

Yes I've only seen them in Bendix brake booster accessory assemblies. I had a few nos Delco gold 9204 boosters and they had the AAC stamped bracket.

What's the length on it? They made a shorter one for earlier Corvette.

Did Paragon ever make reproductions for vettes?

Sorry for the delay in reply. The bracket measure right at 3 3/4 inches from the top to the right angle bend.
Thanks,
Jason

I just measured my assembly line original with the AAC stamp, my measurement is 4 7/16"

I haven't located my bracket yet, but here's an image I saved from a recent eBay ad (sorry, can't find notes on who to credit it to) which matches the above measurement and confirms PM'd recollection that the difference in length was about 3/4".

Interesting. In that case, what year Corvettes is this applicable to?
Thanks guys,
Jason

Far as I know, it was the 1963 model year only, although not on the fuel injected engine.
But hopefully a Corvette-knowledgeable member can confirm.

AAC is the longer Z-28 bracket p is the shorter bracket. This has been my observations over the years. Not a guarantee as I have had original short brackets with no stamping
