I cobbled it up from several GM Heavy truck air cleaners and wanted it to look sorta factory, had to cut the bottom out and use a open element drop base bottom. Would of been much easier if the car had a Q-jet and stock intake instead of Holley dbl pumper and single cross ram intake.
Hardest part was cutting the hole in a perfectly good firewall...:crazy:

Well that was an experience that I've never experienced....SO MANY CARS, hopefully my left leg will recover from the serious clutch in/out durability in the miles long lines..got to watch Charley run that wicked Riviera at Indy.
As far as the cars that were being stolen, my daughter is a techie and set up a last minute security camera system using 2 iPhones via facetime with one of the phones being propped up in the doorwall window overlooking the car (here's a still shot) it worked awesome and I was able to keep an eye on it in real time :cool2:
