Yes, there are two known black one's, one in Wi. and Pa. both still in the original owners possession.

Has this car been to the Super Car Reunion in Bowling Green KY? I remember seeing it or one similar to it.

Yes, this is the one. And I was told that back then there were at least two triple black ones in Bowling Green, plus another black one that might have been triple black too.

One racer got one and others got envious 😃

Ole Nuge and Chris know more than I do. I’m just passing along what they’ve told me. Heck, Nuge has said before that the hoods alone go for over 3 or 4k...only car and year they ever came on, I think. Speaking of the hood, for those that don’t know, that’s the car’s original hood. A previous owner (not Chris) thought about painting the whole car and stripping the hood was as far as he got...thankfully.

I’ve ridden in this car several times and driven it some too. It really is a great car and a true piece of history, not only around these parts but GM history.

And whoever took those photos must be one heck of a guy too! 😉

Ditto that. One doesn’t usually get second chances on a car like this!

I have been super busy so I have not added it to the members classifieds here (will do so now). I believe that Chris told me that the hood was redone from some hail damage, and yes it is the original hood. There are some other small dings in the chrome and a few on the body consistent with this.

Only neg on this car is the CE engine/Tranny. Other than that it's (would be) a survivor.

Great paperwork with2 build sheets and POP.

Here's the ad I bought it from:
