I recently purchased a standard bore late 70 CTB complete short block assembly with all the tin on it for $1000, I considered it a great deal. For $2000 I feel is a little on the high side. But if it's a correct date match for your car. I would certainly pay $2k for it.

I sold a Mid May CTB block for $2000 awhile back. V0518CTB. Was a match for Yenko Duece. Whats the date on yours?

Block VO414CTB cating date D 9 0 Heads D 7 0 AND C 31 0 . I bought the whole motor its 030
Nice score. My 70 Z-28 is an 04B car with a V0408CTB engine.
