I am selling another car from my collection. This is a 71 Corvette Coupe. LT-1 350 / 330hp. 4 speed, 3.55 ratio rear end. Code 979 Bridgehampton Blue / code 412 Blue interior.

ALL original matching numbers with 2 exceptions (service replacement carb and parts store smog pump).

U69 AM/FM radio


Approximately 35% original paint (hood, roof, sail panels) It is my opinion the sides of the car have been painted (as verified by previous owners) as has rear tail panel. It is my understanding the car was pinstriped by the original owner on the peaks of the fenders and tail panel (as many were back in the day). The car has the original hood pinstripes and LT-1 decals. The car has overspray in places that is typical to St. Louis cars of the era. Beautiful no hit body, detectable seams, and OEM gaps. I recently went over the car multiple times with #7 Meguiars. Great gloss, hardly any lacquer checking.

Fantastic original interior! Original carpet, door panels, dash pad, seat covers, seat belts, etc., etc.

Original fan clutch and pulleys
Original smog system ( except for parts store smog pump)

Great original chassis featuring original shocks, exhaust (1 NOS muffler replaced), ball joints, tie rods, idler arm, etc. 5 original dated wheels.

Complete owner history, no gaps. Most owners were either family / friends until recent. Documented with copy of title verifying mileage as actual, Protect-O-Plate, and tank sticker (verified by NCRS).

Great running and driving car! Wiper door, motor, and headlights operate as they should. All fiber optics operate as they should (very bright).

I have owned this car since January of 2019. I purchased it with the intention of a long term hold. It's my kind of car. I had every intention of running the car around between Bloomington Gold, NCRS, and MCACN to get the car judged / certified. It has all the bones of a top notch car. I have recently acquired another car (that speaks to me...... more yet), as well as starting 2 other business's recently. So, some adjustments need to be made.

While I am actively selling the car, this is not a fire sale. I will try to accommodate parties with serious interest. What I won't tolerate is tire kickers, low ballers, and bullshitters. This is a serious car for a serious collector

For what’s it worth, Tim is one of straightest shooters I have encountered in my car buying endeavors. If I was looking for this type of vehicle it would have been gone months ago.

Without a doubt... and if you are willing to settle for chrome rears and urethane fronts there are NICE ORIGINAL low mile 73 L82's 4 spds available quite frequently for under 20k with a smattering of bigblocks available under 20 as well.

yes sir love my 78 L82 silver anniversary. The 25th anniversary was just at the point in time the market started to see these corvettes as collectibles.

I must say I have been a bit shocked how LT-1's have settled down. If this were a Z28, I probably could have sold the car 5 times over. I'd be hard pressed to replace this car at a future date. That having been said, I have decided to keep the car and enjoy it.

Tim, it's starting to get nice in Milwaukee. I'm glad you're going to keep the car and enjoy it as the weather warms up. Drive it to Road America in July for the vintage races, it would be great to see it cruising around track side.

Yeah.......hopefully it's not a scam. It had more miles on it than stated (and more than just a couple) when I sent the car to Canada in Dec. of 2020

The only thing more agitating than someone re-selling a car with my old pics is the guy who calls 2 years after he left you a lowball offer and is pissed-off that you sold it before "giving him a chance".

It's not a scam. I called the dealer as well as the current owner. I politely asked to have my personal information removed from the ad. I even suggested that it would be a bit more transparent if they weren't using pics from 2 years ago.

The result.........nothing. I guess I am going to have to watermark my pics moving forward and delete my personal info. My bad
