I see the blurb about MCACN 2010...
HOWEVER...
In the L88 Display at 2013 MCACN There was a 1967 L88 Black with Blue Stinger lettered with Hanley Dawson as well... difference is it had the window posts cut off and in full race trim-- just like in the vintage photo shown for the auction. It was beside the 1967 DANA L88 COUPE.

----I know this car fairly well, but don't remember it having a low redline tach. Seemingly out of place...…..Bill S

Same car isnt it? It's had a couple of restos from stock to racing appearance and back to stock? i stand to be corrected...

The article on the DeLorenzo car says it was "nearly thrashed to pieces by the mid-80's". Wonder how much of the original car is even left after the different restorations: motor, trans, rear end, frame, J56 brakes, interior pieces, body panels, etc.?
I like it in its race format. Once a race car always a race car.

If someone is going to make a sign giving the cars history, i wish they would use proper grammar and spell check.

I remember the article when the car was first completed. I believe the tub, frame, VIN tag, and trim tag were what remained. Nabors did the first resto a I recall
