I kinda hope this one keeps its slant six. Doesn’t say whether it still wears its original factory paint, but I wouldn’t be surprised. Reminds me of the Steve McQueen Vanishing Point Challenger, but without a few key features.

Neat car. I'd have to relegate the six to a stand and install something more exciting.

I think we're talkin' different movies here. Steve McQueen wasn't in Vanishing Point.

That's got Newman written all over it. Swap out the hood, add a motor, trans and some wheels and go have fun

Sorry, Barry Newman’s Vanishing Point Challenger. I questioned myself as I posted that earlier... I should have listened to my hunch that it was wrong.
Yeah, I’d have to pull that six as well.

Ha! Steve McQueen in Vanishing Point....the critics would have been down playing it to Bullet. Both Great car Movies.

Maybe it's the Randy Newman 68 Mustang from Bullet? Made especially for "short people".

Definitely not original paint. Lots of overspray in the trunk and black engine compartment. Also orange painted 6 cyl engine.

Mopar 6 cylinder looks like a hemi motor that was cut down the middle

Cool platform for a 61-63 Aluminum Block 225 build w/ other years factory Alum' Head and Intake parts added?:hmmm:
Of note w/ Vanishing Point is the car sacrificed in the final scene was actually a '67 Camaro.
