Mr. Ron (Ron Terrell) the original owner of the Tin Soldier COPO is still running this week in the 45th US Nationals!

From his son Jason, who owns Tin Soldier Fabrication and Racing:

The old man is competing in he 45th US Nationals this week. Everyone of those 45 times has been in superstock. At 77 years old he is still a force to be reckoned with. He is the original Tin Soldier and we are lucky to have him. Help us wish Ron Terrell good luck! Let’s bring home another Wally! #tinsoldierracecars #theOG

He's definitely one of the greats and a true enthusiast to still be making the milk run at 77 years old.

What a great family. Really good people. I can't tell you how many people reach out about their memories of Mr. Ron and both Tin Soldiers.
Really proud that his son Jason has been able to continue the Tin Soldier legacy, and even turn it into a successful business (Fabrication and Racing). Check them out if you can at:

and on Facebook at:

Hope to see Mr. Ron back in the saddle (and with a good weight on the car this time! :) ) soon.

Blessed to be the current caretaker for the second time of the Tin Soldier COPO
