1962 Belair Sedan 409/425 hp, 4 Spd, posi. This car was built in the California plant and has the one piece bumpers still on the car in very good condition. It is the original colors Autumn Gold with Fawn interior. The paint appears to me to be original except the front clip and it looks as though the entire car has been clear coated at some time in its life. The paint is starting to show its age and I suggest viewing the car in person. It shows 81,000 on the odometer. The motor is out of a 63 (814 casting) high performance QB code motor and has the 63 exhaust manifolds with a tight flow master exhaust to the rear wheels where it should exit. The motor runs great, carbs are correct and have been restored. There is no signs of rust ever in the car, the rear wheel lips still retain the factory spot welds to the inner wheel well. Interior is still all original except the seat covers and the carpet, dash is original paint. Floors still have the red oxide paint that was applied when new. The glass is clear and I believe original to the car. The trunk still has the factory spatter paint. I will load some pictures after taken them for the third time since my camera seems to be resetting to a file size to large for these darn limitations. Price is $31,900 call anytime 217-620-3405

Thanks John, my very first car was the same car unfortunately a 4 door version. I put a 348 in it, jacked it up to the sky and painted a peace symbol on the rear pumpkin. Whats old is new again.

If any of you happen to be in Springfield Illinois this weekend for the Route 66 car show I will have this car there if the weather is cooperating.

I would like to have the garage space before winter so price lowered to $29,500 but that is as low as it gets.

Nice exhaust work! Those X-Frames are so different underneath than the perimeter framed A-Bodies I'm used to working on. Very cool.
