Price is $ 26,500 which dosen,t buy u much anymore in the line of any type of black 4speed survivor muscle car with bullet proof docs and lo miles ,I may do some trading who knows?? No doubt the late 70's to 81 era Camaro and Firebird will be a strong part of the collector car market. Each generation remembers the cars they grew up with...I remember selling these new at a Chevy store in 1980...hard to believe it was 40 years ago :eek2:

I ordered a brand new 78 Z-28 back in the day. Only kick myself for not buying up two nice 69 Z-28 Camaro's back then and storing them.

I couldnt afford a brand new Z28 back in 1979, so I bought my 69 Camaro RS/SS instead and still have it :D

I suspect this is a car we all will kick ourselves for not purchasing down the road. It checks all the boxes.

Luggage rack question for the group: my uncle loves telling the story about ordering his '80 Z28 (stolen in Milwaukee in 1984). The salesperson asked what options he wanted and my uncle replied with "it might be easier to tell you what I don't want. I don't want a radio, floor mats, or a luggage rack. Please add everything else."

To the best of my uncle's knowledge, when you added the luggage rack, you had to delete the rear spoiler. I noticed the luggage rack isn't included on this car's Dealer Copy. Maybe it was possibly added after it left the factory, allowing for the rear spoiler to remain intact?
