I guess not too many watch the SO No Prep Kings show, but it was pretty cool to see Ryan Martin win the championship.

I saw part of it...:) Up until he won the championship. Did he also win the last race?

Yes Bruce, he did. It was amazing how well NOLA and the Misfit teams did this season. I was hoping Dave Comstock would do better this season, but too much breakage. Ryan's Fireball made almost all of them except the NOLA people look like they would never catch him. I read that they made Birdman (James Finney) change his setup because none of them could beat him, which was somewhat disheartening.

I enjoyed this season. The racing was great and I found myself liking certain racers and disliking some of the other personalities lol. Some nice cars sharp car people.

Didn't Ryan buy his Camaro from a Yenko.net member? If I remember correctly?

Ah, found it...it was a friend of Frank's :

Went on Friday night last spring when they were at New England Dragway. We were on the starting line between lanes. Thats my shadow on Ryans quarter panel. Great show. wish I could upload the videos.

FiveForty, how were the races in person? We were thinking of going next time they're in FLA.

I enjoy the racing part of it and it's pretty cool to see Pat Musi involved. I grew up at Englishtown raceway park in NJ and Musi has always been a household name (plus his daughter 1. can drive her ass off 2. Is quite easy on the eyes) Chuck absolutely annoys me .. He reminds me of Ricky Bobby from Talladega nights when he interviews because he has no clue what to do with his hands and he comes off as the biggest boob.
It is cool to see some of the more street oriented guys try and make the transition to NP.

Went Friday night and was excellent. Being on the starting line was great. Did not go Saturday heard it was good but dragged out

Thanks. It does amaze me that they let so many people sit around the starting area. I've been to a tiny track in Ohio that does that too. Just gets a little crazy out there for me.

So they just introduced Ryan Martin's replacement for the Fireball Camaro on Facebook. Not a giant fan of the color, and they were looking for names for the new one. Someone said Wrecking Ball and considering the new color, it actually fits pretty well I thought.

That's part of racing.

The pen is mightier than the wrench.

We've had a few guys thrown out of the NMCA because they showed their hand.

The replacement for Fireball and I thought he said it was built by the same guy who built Fireball:
