That car was totally debunked on the old SS427 website a number of years ago, but the owner (who attempted ad nauseum to defend its validity) absolutely refused to accept the fact that it was/is a fake.

Carefully worded ad saying only that 11 engines were assembled. Not that any actually made it into a car. Did 67’s have the VIN stamped on the block yet?
Mecum sucks. Ever try to watch one on tv, they try to be like BJ but it’s not even close.

Well, '66s had the VIN stamped on the block, so I would think '67s did too.
