Original Carroll Shelby Motors Cobra License Plate Frame

I have what I believe to be an original Shelby license frame that I bought from an older gentleman who owned a GT350 in the 1980s. The cross-hatched area on either side of the 'Carroll Shelby Motors' text is not present on the reproductions I've seen. Super nice piece that will be right at home on your supercar. Looking for $250, never seen another one of this style so I have no idea whether the true value is considerably more....

Thanks to a member here taking the time to educate me, I have learned that this frame is a very early reproduction, circa 1970, that is a nearly exact copy of the original Shelby dealer license frames.
