1969 Firebird RamAirIII convertible. national show winner. Featured in several publications. Meticulous frame-off restoration using only NOS and original parts on a 36000 mile numbers matching car. PHS docs indicate 36 factory installed options. One of 57 produced with RAIII engine/THM400 combination. Matador Red/Black.

Very rare and extremely desirable ram air Firebird ,over the course of almost 50 years looking for these cars ( RA FIREBIRD CONVs) we’ve only found several that exist.

Question for the Pontiac experts: What is that metal line going up from the PS (?) that goes along the radiator top and back?? What purpose does going in a loop serve?
I don't remember seeing that on other GM cars.

P/S cooling line used only on 69 Firebird’s equipped with power steering , 3:55 or lower gears and safety track .loops around top of radiator to provide a cooling affect

I assume "Matador Red" is the same shade as "Garnet Red" on the Camaros - correct? Looks similar. I know they shared some colors among the divisions.
