Looking for a detail item, I need a single 2.0 oz "wing style" Bata MICRO wheel weight as shown in the photo. I have a variety of these weights however can't seem to locate a 2.0 oz that I need to complete my wheels. Please PM if you can help.

Thanks Jake. Someone snatched up a huge amount of them over the Holiday weekend and we're basically cleaned out with exception of few stragglers and our reserve stock. I don't believe we have what Lloyd is looking for.

I did happen to see Dan & Dave's listing on eBay which has been there for some time however they noted only 0.50oz and 0.75oz weights were left. I'm intrigued by what treasures are in the "reserve stock" hmm.

It looks like I have a 2.0oz. I'll have to pull out the bag and confirm.

Lloyd,
I looked everywhere but this one of those cases when they were put in a "safe place" and I couldn't find them. Sorry. Hopefully someone can come up with one for you.

Verne
PS: I may have used it on my '63 Impala?

Hi, I cannot tell from this thread if you found one or not... I dug around anyway in my stashes and found this, let me know if you have any interest in it.

Cheers,
Anthony

That is the later Micro without the Wings.

Correct it should ha 2.0 on both ends.

OEM should have standard measure on both ends with wings. This is a late type. Introduced when metric became prevelant in the states. As a 1967 NCRS exterior judge for the National team, I take off points for this type of weight as it is non-OEM. Lloyd, knowing what you're trying to accomplish here, I would keep hunting.

Thanks Dan, I had an original, untouched spare tire/wheel in my 1969 10 10 RS/Z with a similar wheel weight, however when I reviewed my old photos I discovered that instead of the oz/grams it had the raised oz marking and a letter (in this case a C). I’ll keep looking for a matching 2.0oz MICRO wing style weight.

Thanks very much Dave, I accepted a generous offer from a Member who sent me one I thought was correct but unfortunately wasn't. The top one in the photo will work best.

The one you picked has had the MICRO word smashed-in from the removal tool. I will go look right now. It is hard for me to get around, but I think I know where they are. I will be back.. signed .. that dannystarr guy ha ha
Update... Found a bin full of over 100, OF COURSE every size but 2.0. I have another place to look. But have to have the neighbor go up the ladder. Get back to ya later today... D

Thanks for looking Danny, I appreciate it. The 2.0oz wing style MICRO weights seem to be unusually difficult to find - not sure why. I was able to buy one from Dave V.

Lloyd.

The word "Micro" is not smashed at all. There is a mark underneath it from the removal tool. Just not a good picture. Thanxs for the comments! Dave
