I’ll stick with my lowly Camaros. Can’t afford these Novas. This was on Marketplace for, like, a day. Then owner decided that Orange was really gold!
BB he bought the car for $8500.00 Total blow hard about it as well. And trying to make a fortune on it. Dave a friend of mine offered him 25k for it. Fair IMHO needs totally gone through and the guy told him to F*** himself a real jerk.

Yes , but 4 speed real drivetrain vs auto without could be huge diiferencec to many buyers. And you get to see orig paint assuming description is accurate

His price is definitely too high but what’s an original paint L78 4-Speed Nova worth? I would say a lot less than $48k as you’re going to spend a few thousand getting it on the road.....assuming all the mechanicals work. But it’s still desirable........:headbang:
I say, get the car running/driving, paint ONLY what needs to be painted and drive it.....since we know they’re only original once. That’s my two cents.
I’m a sucker for Novas so I’m easily pursued......lol

Cool car and let's hope it ends up w/ someone who appreciates it before others mess w/ it further and/or parts go astray.
Worth digging for some history as note the original decal from N. Hollywood's Fiasco Automotive...way cool if Dyno Tuned by Richard Johnson!:worship:

Just another "PROFIT" bandit. I will be very surprised if someone buys it.

My understanding is this car has born with engine/rear...replacement tranny and has the Fisher Build sheet that matches the TT and has the L78 listed. I will agree that many folks prefer a 4spd...but, if that's not an issue, the one I mentioned is worth considering. As with any car...a personal inspection is a good idea...that way you can look things over.

Attention Collectors! Fresh restoration of a very desirable Nova SS L78 396/375HP. Hugger orange with black bucket seats and custom interior package. This is a rare car with 4 owner documented history and titles. The factory Special Order Hugger Orange paint is documented with the correct original trim tag. The Broadcast card is also included as part of the additional paperwork. It has many original or restored parts including the alternator, carb, distributor, 5 blade W fan and more. This car was rebuilt by a top quality and experienced Nova specialist. This is a rare automobile and is priced to sell.

Why does what the seller paid for the car matter?
It's worth whatever the market decides it's worth.
