Not an often seen color combination on any '69 Camaro, much less a COPO 427. $175k asking price.
This thing is just perfect for a set of Sun 2 5/8" gauges to be installed under the dash...and I'd have a set of vintage TTs bolted to it as soon as I got it home.

I would opt for a nice set of period-correct Cragar SS with big/little tire combo like it sported back in its drag racing days. I am liking the "day-two" looking cars more and more, because that's the way I remembered them. Very few people were driving those cars around with the steelies and dog dish caps. IMO that look has become a little played out.

I remember very few Muscle Cars with stock/wheels and tires from back in the day.
One of the Super Kool aspects of MCACN is that the show recognizes Day II cars. Now we just need a Day II Vintage Certification class.

What's old is new again...seems like only yesterday we were killing ourselves to make sure every part number matched, every bolt was the right color and so forth. In the end, we remember the way the cars the away they were when we drove them...and they weren't stock!
Of course a Day Two revival will make all those parts double in value...but I guess that's all part of the romance :scholar::beers:

I need to make it up to the MCACN show sometime! Yeah, I kind of like looking at the Day Two cars even more than the perfect nut-and-bolt restored cars. It's like looking at a time capsule - especially the unrestored cars.

Who ever buys this car needs this killer 68 short bed to pull it since they are matching.

Nice car but still overpriced for the market.
I am sorry but there is no way this has the original drivetrain. And the paperwork is suspect to say the least. I believe it is a copo but original NO

I have not seen the rearend but in talking to someone who has it does not match the car and stamping is questionable

you know, it's really just a nice white '69 Camaro with a different drive train. We would build cars like this in the 70's and 80's and no one used the word 'COPO' to describe them. Just cool fast hotrods.
