----I don't know why I remember that these TV's were offered as an option on Hurst Grand Prix SSJ's. I certainly might be wrong but it's stuck in my brain...….Bill S

That's correct, Bill... I purchased this '71 GP SSJ back in the early 90's in the Sacramento area and it had this Hurst optional Sony TV still with the car from new. I found out later that it was quite rare to find these ordered on the SSJ's. I also discovered many years later that the owner of the local Pontiac dealership "Mel Rapton" ordered this car new for his demo. Mel sold it months later off the showroom floor to the uncle of the gentleman that I bought it from. When I went to work for Mel Rapton Honda back in 2007, Mel's daughter & son told me that they remembered riding in the back seat of the car as kids while watching the TV on a couple of trips that they took in the car. This car was pretty loaded up and quite expensive back then.
