Blue ZL1 sold new at Joy Chev

Anyone hear any stories of a blue ZL1 sold new out of Joy Chev in Toms River, NJ? Some local guys claim to have backed it off the hauler back in '69.....

If true, would have to be a former Gibb car. Which blue? 4-speed or auto?

Agree, would have been a reassigned car - or perhaps another dealer xfer from Penske, I see if I can find out more....

We've never confirmed the ZL1 Degnan Chev' Philly delivered as below link which is 90 min. from Joy Chev' NJ.
It was Blue too although which Blue not clarified yet either...possibly the same car?:hmmm:

Lot attendant reports that it was new, and was Dusk Blue - def not Lemans Blue.

Leading candidates are #19 N609530 and #21 N609651, both 4-speeds. Unknown dealer re-assignments and no registration history.

The block for #21 turned up many years ago.
