Odd that the GM of Canada docs aren't posted - but judging by the trim tag this one wasn't born a Super Sport (shows it came with M35 = Powerglide). Somewhat amusing since it would be so simple to verify with call to George Zapora.

Bodywork/paint quality looks pretty interesting as well.

Tony, I'm wondering if that's L35 and not M35, which would be consistent with description. The photo is really crappy for sure.

I have inspected this Canadian Built Convertible Chevelle. Tony is correct....this is NOT a Real SS396. It was BORN with Powerglide Trans. It is currently not the original Engine or Trans. It does have the original born with door panels and rear seat.
Wheels are obviously 15 inch wheels.
It is a rare car, not many Canadian Built Convertible Chevelles out there.
