Hurst “Mystery” shifter, 3 speed. I have the same shifter in my tote full of Hurst stuff. I think approximately 1972-1975 vintage. I’ve had it since high school BTW.

Thank you. BBBentley told me the same thing last night, but I misunderstood him. I've never heard of a mystery shifter before. I wonder why they called it a mystery shifter? Doesn't seem like a very good name.

They were a “ Mystery” if you got it into 2nd? Ha, Ha. Seriously I think they were a cheaper version if you could not afford a “SyncroLock” . I had it on a old non synchro 1st -3 speed, we used to call those trans -“Grenades” back in the early 70,s.
I’ll dig it out tomorrow and try to post a picture for you.

Synchro Loc was the Hurst Cadillac of 3 speed shifters, it had shifter stops and better internals.

Thank you for the pictures and information.
Birds had the bent handle, Camaro was straight.

The OP was asking about single bolt aftermarket handles.
Are you referring to second generation shifter handles?
First generation 69Camaro/ 68/69 Firebird are the same.
I think the name Mystery shifter was changed to MASTERSHIFT
My 1987 Hurst catalog shows the MASTERSHIFT line as the lower cost 3 speed shifter for OEM replacement 3 speed shifters and column to floor conversions
